Alice CadyAlice Cady, BA
Classroom Teacher — PS 1

Alice Cady is from Wellsville, New York in Allegany County. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Health & Human Services from University at Buffalo in May 2015. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. Alice started at the ECRC as an intern in August 2014 and began as a teacher in the afternoon later that year. In addition to her work at the ECRC, Alice has spent the past two years interning at other schools with pre-k to second graders, and also has experience working in daycare. Alice enjoys baking, painting, being outdoors, and volunteering around the community with the UB Circle K club and Habitat for Humanity.


Corinne EgglestonStanley Diih, EdM
Classroom Teacher — PS 2

Stanley Diih was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Staten Island, New York. He received his bachelor’s degree in Health & Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood in May of 2014. He completed his Master's of Education in Early Childhood & Childhood Education in May of 2016. Now, he is in pursuit of a Doctorate degree in Educational Administration. Stanley began working at the ECRC as an intern in January of 2013 and became a lead teacher in September of 2013. He has spent the last year student teaching in Buffalo Public and Amherst Central schools. Now in his fourth year, he is very excited to be back at the ECRC! In addition to his time at the ECRC, he has spent the last several years tutoring and volunteering in local public school classrooms, ranging from K-12. He enjoys playing piano, watching sports and spending time with his friends and family.


Daniel HaugetoDaniel Haugeto, BS
Classroom Teacher — Pre-K

Dan grew up in Clarence Center, New York. He is currently in his fourth year here at UB and is majoring in Health and Human Services Degree with a concentration in Early Childhood. He then plans to go for his masters in Occupational Therapy. There he hopes to work with early intervention children in a preschool setting. Dan first began at the ECRC as an intern in the fall of 2013. He has now made the transition into being a teacher in the PS II classroom. For many years, Dan has been a volunteer at SABAH, a foundation for teaching children with special needs how to ice skate. These experiences and his overall love of working with children have made the transition to a teacher easy and exciting!

Dan also enjoys cooking, the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.


SeungJung JoSeungJung Jo, MS
Classroom Teacher — PM

SeungJung is from Gwangju, a city in South Korea which is famous for its rich and diverse cuisine. She earned her B.A. in History and English Literature & Language from Korea. She completed her Masters in TESOL at SUNY Albany and is currently in pursuit of her PhD in Curriculum, Instructions, and the Science of Learning. Her academic interest is how children learn foreign and second language. Outside of the ECRC, she enjoys doing yoga, learning foreign languages, and cooking.


Bin LinBin Lin, PhD
Research Assistant

Bin Lin is from China. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in School Education and Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Developmental and Educational Psychology from China. She is currently pursuing a second Ph.D. in Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. Bin enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.



E. Paige QuinlanE. Paige Quinlan
Classroom Teacher — PS 1

Paige was born in Dansville, New York and raised in Wayland, New York. She is currently in her fourth year of undergraduate study here at UB, majoring in both psychology and health and human services, with a concentration in early childhood, and a minor in business. She plans on pursuing her Master’s in Early Childhood/Childhood Education in 2017. Paige began at the ERCR in the Spring of 2016 as an intern.

Paige keeps busy as President of UB’s Men’s Rowing Club. She has been an active member for 3 years and is the Coxswain. She also enjoys reading, crafts, spending with her family and friends, and traveling.


Ashley SchultzAshley Schultz, BA
Classroom Teacher — PM

Ashley grew up in Williamsville, New York. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University at Buffalo and is currently pursuing a master’s in Early Childhood Education. Ashley started at the ECRC as an intern in the summer of 2015 and began teaching the following September. Her primary research interests include literacy. social-emotional development and the psychology of parenting. Ashley enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her son.


Cai WangCai Wang, MA
Classroom Teacher — PS 1

Cai is from China. She received her BA in early childhood education in China, and she completed her MA in early childhood education in California, U.S. She is now pursuing her PhD in Curriculum, Instruction and the Science of Learning with an early childhood education focus. Cai started at ECRC as a volunteer in August 2015, and began as a lead teacher in Spring 2016.

Before coming to ECRC, Cai has spent two years working in a Constructivism-based on-campus lab school (teaching children from 6 months to 5 years old) in Oakland, and one year working in a Reggio-inspired Mandarin Immersion preschool in San Francisco. Cai has great passion working with young children. Cai enjoys traveling, cooking, playing piano, and spending time with her friends and family.


Ashley SchultzNorline Wild, MSW, LMSW
Classroom Teacher — PS 2

Norline Wild grew up in Grand Island, New York. She received her bachelor’s degree in human services from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and her master’s degree in social work (MSW) from Boston College. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Norline is pursuing her PhD in Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning at UB—focusing on early childhood education.

Norline has worked extensively with a diverse population of children and families in classroom, home and therapy environments and has 10 years of experience teaching preschool. Norline loves to spend time with her husband, Jason, and her three children, Mara, Gabriella and Anthony.
